The GB3 Championship is run by MotorSport Vision’s racing arm, MSVR, and comprises 24 races across eight events.

The weekend format typically includes a 20 minute qualifying session and two 20 minute races followed by a 25 minute final race featuring a reverse grid.

The grid for the first is set in qualifying order, while the grid for the second is in order of each driver’s second fastest lap.

The race three starting order will be the reverse of the top-12 fastest times achieved in qualifying prior to any penalties applied, with the remaining drivers lining up behind them in qualifying order.

Such a format provides exciting racing, the opportunity for drivers to develop overtaking skills.
